Where carpet or carpet tiles have been discounted as a suitable finish on access flooring, our access screed can be laid as either a smooth floated finish, or Terrazzo. Both of these systems offer an extremely durable finish suitable for transition by chair castors, high heels, sack trucks, and other loads you would expect to experience in an office environment. To reduce the amount of movement from the access floor, ply/cement boarding is screwed onto it thus helping to provide some rigidity. Our incredibly flexible screeds are bonded to the board and they can easily absorb any small amount of movement which might occur, with no adverse effect.
The extreme trowel floor Can be pumped and power-floated at high installation speeds, 1000 square metres a day is attainable.
Rapid poured terrazzo is also an extremely hard-wearing 10mm surface, and is ideally suited to go onto access flooring.
Floors exhibit high abrasion resistance from Böhme A3 to A 1,5 providing the ultimate in thin (10mm) cementitious toppings.
Typical hardness of 60 Newtons/M2 is achieved, and with a flexural strength of F16+, the combination of these two properties make it unbeatable value for money.
